Your child deserves more
Welcome to our casa dei bambini
The Montessori Method of Education is a wonderful alternative to daycare or other nursery schools. Our students have the opportunity to experience being an operative and influential member of a small and unique community of children around their own age.

Our Program
This Primary level program is specifically designed to meet the growing needs of children among the ages of 2½ to 6 years old. The three-year cycle begins when the child is between 2½ to 3½ years of age and ends when the child arrives at approximately 6 years old.
This primary class, known as the "Casa Dei Bambini"
or "Children's House" is a learning environment that has been specially prepared to offer everything the young child needs to grow in a wholesome way, not only intellectually, but also physically, emotionally, socially and psychologically.
It is based on the concept that young children during the formative years are their own master teachers, guided by a professionally trained Montessori Directress who follows the interests and potentials of each individual child at their specific rate of development. The child is given opportunities to cultivate new interests in an effort to realize his/her fullest potentials as a unique individual, as well as to nurture a love for learning and an appreciation of working in a respectful, peaceful and enriching environment with young children of varied ages.
Because this program is founded entirely on the natural development and interests of young children during these formative years, it is imperative that the child begins the program at the ideal age of entry (2½ - 3½ years old).
Program
Dr. Maria Montessori
Dr. Montessori was the founder of this method of education. An Italian medical doctor who was the first woman to ever graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rome, Italy in 1896. She worked extensively throughout her life with young children and dedicated herself to advocating world peace and equality for all people. (She has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize twice!).
After having scientifically observed the natural development and behaviours of young children, she began designing educational materials and techniques that not only interested children in doing purposeful and intelligent activities, but also allowed them to learn concepts and acquire skills that were formerly considered beyond their capabilities.
Dr. Montessori discovered that the young child possesses a unique and natural ability to absorb knowledge from his/her surroundings quickly and perfectly, without effort or fatigue. This ability is universal -- transcending race and culture, all across the globe since the beginning of human existence.

With each passing day, I am ever more convinced that, along with the guidance of the Directress, our children are proceeding to actualize their potentials while developing their independence and self-esteem. Through their work, the children's total development flourishes".
